 Julie Waltz - Bio

Julie has worn many hats throughout her life from growing up on a South Dakota cattle ranch to becoming a student, researcher, pediatrician, teacher, editor, and voice over artist.  She started her professional career as a pediatrician which later evolved into being a homeschool teacher, then a high school chemistry and math teacher. She entered the voice over world by doing live online teaching and creating video lessons for her students.  Fueled by her desire to continue learning new things, her latest ventures include voice artist, copy editing, and copywriting.  With her experience in medicine and teaching, Julie is an expert with medical and STEM terminology and perfect for e-learning, narrations, tutorials, and documentaries.

As a teacher and editor, Julie has used her passion for teaching and attention to detail to narrate commercials, lessons, explainers, and short documentaries that are creative, interesting, and clear.  She has a broad educational background and a professional voice.  Let her become the voice of your product or project.

She and her husband live in Sioux Falls, SD, close to their adult children. They still enjoy many family adventures together. Her creative hobbies include running, Pilates, cooking, baking, gardening, oil painting, woodworking, photography, fly fishing, archery, and now, a new one - off-roading in their Bronco!  She loves a creative challenge!
